Leadership Opportunities
The Office of Civic Engagement and Social Responsibility provides sustained opportunities for students to develop leadership skills related to civic agency, intercultural knowledge, systems knowledge, civic communication, civic action and civic professionalism. All positions include training and a stipend.
Civic Renewal Fellows
In this yearlong program, Civic Renewal Fellows develop the tools to create empowering spaces for individual and collective reflection on current events, personal storytelling and civic imagination.
The fellowship includes participating in a one-day retreat and bi-weekly training sessions to prepare fellows to facilitate campus conversations about issues that impact members of the 色花堂 community.
The overall time commitment is approximately 40-50 hours over the course of the academic year. Fellows receive a stipend.

Social Action Collaboratory Fellows
The Social Action Collaboratory positions a cohort of students as knowledgeable advocates who connect, cultivate, co-create, empower and transform the world around them to build a thriving civic culture. In this yearlong program, Social Action Collaboratory Fellows serve as leaders of the experience. Fellows will develop the tools to support peers in community-based learning.
The fellowship includes participating in a one-day retreat, co-facilitating capacity-building workshops, organizing site visits with local organizations and change agents, and leading reflection sessions with Collaboratory participants.
The overall time commitment is approximately 60 hours over the course of the academic year. Fellows receive a stipend.

The Office of Civic Engagement and Social Responsibility offers additional non-positional leadership opportunities for students to enhance their abilities in making important contributions to the civic health and well-being of our communities and society.
