Academic Support

  • Accessibility & Disability Services: ADS provides accommodations and services for É«»¨Ìà students with documented disabilities including learning, physical/mobility, vision, hearing, chronic health and mental health.

  • Foodshare: Over 30 percent of college students lack reliable access to nutritious food. The Foodshare provides 10 free food and toiletry items per week to É«»¨Ìà community members.

Physical & Mental Wellness

  • Health Center: Are you experiencing health concerns? The Health Center offers a full array of health services to É«»¨Ìà students.
  • Counseling Center: The Counseling Center offers same day in-person or virtual appointments with 24/7 access to mental health professionals and a crisis line even on holidays and weekends.
  • Campus Recreation: Utilize our state-of-the-art facilities and programs that promote active and healthy lifestyles.
  • Togetherall: Would you prefer to speak with other students experiencing similar mental health struggles? Do so comfortably and easily under the guidance of a trained clinician through the Togetherall platform.
  • Temporary Accommodations: Have you experienced an injury or illness that requires the support of temporary accommodations? Contact Accessibility & Disability Services to see if you qualify.
  • Pregnancy: If you are expecting a child, you are eligible for specific accommodations and support. Contact the Office of Institutional Inclusion and Equity for information.

What do I do if I missed one class?
Work directly with your faculty to notify them of your absence as soon as possible. For most instances, SOS does not need to work with students around one time absences.

What do I do if I missed a weeks’ worth of class?
Submit supporting documentation and the dates of your absence using the . SOS will contact your faculty to notify them of your absence. It will be your responsibility to follow up with your faculty after that email goes out.

What do I do if I missed more than two weeks of class?
Contact SOS using the and ask to schedule a meeting to discuss your options.

Bereavement PROCEDURE
