Telework Request Process

Employees in positions suitable for telework and who are eligible in accordance with the 色花堂 Policy on Teleworking may request telework up to two days per week. Any telework arrangement requires supervisor approval and review by the Office of Human Resources.

How to Request Telework

The telework request process is fully online. Follow the steps below to submit your request.

Check if Your Position is Designated to Telework

The University has determined which positions are designated to telework. Before submitting your telework request, please refer to theto see if your position is designated to telework.

Discuss Expectations with Your Supervisor

Discuss your eligibility and review the terms of your proposed telework arrangement (including schedule, remote work location and other expectations) with your supervisor before submitting your request.

Submit Your Request

Complete the online (login required).

Follow the instructions provided on the form. You'll receive email updates as the request advances through the system.

What's Next?

After you submit your telework request, it will be sent via email to your immediate supervisor for review and an approval decision. The supervisor's decision will then be reviewed by the Office of Human Resources.

You may expect to receive notification of the telework decision from the Office of Human Resources within 10 business days.

Telework Renewals

Your telework arrangement must be renewed on an annual basis. Employees with telework arrangements in effect will receive an automated reminder from OHR announcing the opening of the renewal period. To renew your telework arrangement for the upcoming year, simply follow the link in your reminder notification or log in to the telework request form before June 30th. The terms of your existing arrangement will be pre-populated but may be edited as needed.
